Swiftech makes brackets to fit most cards if it does not fit the one you have. I think they are 6.99. I'm going to order one for my 560ti upgraded from 8800gts. they also make a ramsink and pwm sink package, check those out to see if they will work on your 6950.

I used it for COD WAW, the download speed was good. it was the activation that i had a problem with. I bought it on Saturday and could not activate it until business hours on monday, because the auto activate function would not work properly.
I would go with the 8800GTS, unless you are running super high resolutions 1920x1440 or up. Most reviews show the 320mb version faster than the 640mb version at normal resolutions, 1280x1024.
Be sure to cool the VRMs (the big heat sink on the right in the pic) there are posts all over the net about the VRMs over heating if you pull the stock heat sink off. If you can keep them cool the OCing is not bad.
