Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

I've been thinking about this exact thing
May I ask what size screen you are using?
I've been thinking of going with a 65" OLED and setting up a desk many feet away from it.
It depends upon region and the consumer protection laws...
Here in the USA we have the "hahaha ...you thought you would get some warranty from this large company??!" 1 year useless warranty.
Same monitor gets 2 years in Europe and 3 years in Australia from what I've heard so far.
Wow? Is it that old?
Time flies! I've been loving mine the entire time. Really a great monitor.
Edit: This made me search my email receipts - Yep! Fall of 2014 from Fry's
Amazing how fast it goes by!
I was excited about this and the pricing until I realized they didn't make it a true docking station type monitor set up and that it has no card reader or legacy USB ports built in.
Those seem like a really odd omissions given that the old Apple thunderbolt display was specifically built to...

My searching isn't revealing much.
32" 5k is literally my dream monitor - Simply perfect for me.
Sorry - My mistake for not being more clear - Sort of assumed that all would garner that it was my personal preference as it was my comment.
It's all subjective and to your point, I also would rather have a 30-32 vs 27 at 2x 5k
The main reason 1440p at 27" doesn't work for me (native or 5k 2x)...
COMPLETELY agree with this.
I'd already have a 5k monitor, but 27" is just too small for perfect 2x scaling in terms of effective size of onscreen elements.
But a 5k 30-32" would be basically perfect
Got a smashed panel from HHGregg on this model 2 days ago - Sucks
My uncle got one that was in good shape a couple weeks ago though and has been very much enjoying 4k @ 60hz!
Side note: Was there some sale on these or something?
I'm in Idaho and several people around here are also selling "sealed brand new" of the exact TV...all trying to ask exactly what retailers are asking ($199). Seems like somebody had a clearance and people are trying to make a buck or...
