With batman AA I had it turned off on my 5850. With it on low on my gtx 670, the first scarecrow event ran at 30fps. I heard it gets worse.
Alice runs physx low by default and cannot be turned off. But if I turn it past low its just unplayable.
Ever since I got my gtx 670 FTW I have been unhappy with it. There's some scenarios where I see a noticeable improvement with it, but I'm seeing some severe performance drops in a lot of games for no reason at all. I'm coming from a 5850. shouldn't I be seeing improvements in all areas?
Flash...
I'm actually disappointed with mine. Windows feels less responsive, and flash is just slower in general. In some games I notice the improvement from my 5850, but general use and older stuff it's just worse. Vsync stutter bug is ass.
I await further drivers.
when I watch a stream. In firefox (this happens in chrome too), when I click and hold the mouse button on the window the stream video freezes for up to 2-4 secs. When I move the window back and fourth the window stutters across the screen (randomly). Both of these issues never happened on my...
Is this with regular vsync or just adaptive?
I understand that but shouldn't a gtx670 run it fine with phsyx?
I reinstalled windows. The huge fps drop to 10 is no longer there with Physx on. I still get those small drops here or there though =/
I'm using the only drivers that work with my card. Those are the newest drivers. Also, I got to the part in mirrors edge where the windows get shot out and I was seriously getting 10fps. I think somethings wrong. I driver sweeped everything. I might have to do a fresh install of windows.
I just bought a EVGA GTX 670 FTW to upgrade my 5850. My 5850 has been a decent card. There's some games where it was horrible for that card. SR3, RO2, Darksiders, GTAIV (its a bad port, but it was unplayable). With the recent patch of RO2 I did net a lot more performance so it was most likely...
I'm telling you, It happens on my 5850. Dice did something to the engine to reduce server latency, and client stability to make the game run better. Blackops has the same problem. On release the pop in, and LOD on your video card did not exist. It's not driver related.
Go play on Arica Harbor...
AA on BC2 was always busted.
Also, the texture pop in, and agressive LOD in BC2 is not a problem with your card. It's the game. It wasn't this bad on release, so their attempt to optimize it was to give the PC version the console treatment to make it "run" better on all computers. Trust me...
Taken from the steam forums.
My fps goes really low after a few minutes, what's going on?
What's happening is the Jupiter EX engine that F.E.A.R. and its expansions are built on is overpolling the USB bus. This most often happens when you are using Logitech/Saitek equipment and it has been a...
Heh, still not much of a deal considering the technical issues the game has atm.
I got the PC version for $15, and I honestly wouldn't pay more than $30.
It's an issue. I don't give a shit if your diamond to prove a point. Anything that effects performance in an RTS is a major issue. It wasn't in previous drivers, why is it there now?
Ok. The moment of truth.
Does the Mouse cursor lag, and glitched windows 7 loading screen appear in the final build? 11.1 or 11.1a
Someone confirm please.
Seems like it, but I rather have the cursor corruption. In SC2 / Hon with 10.12, Depending where your cursor is at, and you map scroll, you get frame lag. In games like that, where you are constantly moving your mouse, and keeping your APM up to react on certain situations, frame lag is the last...
