Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Okay..
I found out the PSU I have is only 200 watt. It's an ATX-1956D. It has an 'almost impossible to find' 3 pin connector.. I have no idea what that means.
So.. How much would a larger watt PSU cost me? Should I get a -specific- one? And what about the 3 pin connector?
Jedi Academy and Day of Defeat are both OpenGL (I believe). I've reinstalled DirectX 9.0b three times.
I'm afraid it might be my power supply, also. I'm going to call ATI tomorrow, and if they can't help, I'll order a new PSU. Although I have no idea how to do that.. Or how to install the...
Okay. I've completely reinstalled everything for it, besides taking the card out and putting it back in. Still, nothing. It restarts whenever a 'good' game is loaded.
Games such as Day of Defeat, and Jedi Academy work. Games such as Painkiller, and Splinter Cell do not.
Okay. When you said uninstall the 9600se, did you mean the drivers or the card itself? So should I completely reinstall everything, or just the drivers? The card works fine, really.. I fixed the problem with the icons refreshing by turning down the hardware acceleration. The only time it messes...
Well, the subject says it all. I managed to successfully take out my GeForce 2 64mb card, and install a Radeon 9600SE card. I deleted all the nVidia drivers, and installed all of the ATI drivers.
The problem begins when I try to load a 'newer' game. Most games restart my computer instantly...
Okay. Thank you! I've never had to paint anything besides pictures, really, so I don't know about sanding. But I'll have my father helping me with this project, so perhaps he'll know exactly what to do. Thanks again.
For painting, though, I'd like to get the other side off.. You know? I'd...
I think I might have used some of the wrong terminology. Thanks for being supportive though, and helping me out as much as you could. I understand that I won't do it all right the first time, or for many times after that, I'm sure. But I'm only 16, and money comes scarcely.
Firstly, I...
Hi guys. Lovely mods you have here. I've been reading up on a lot of things.
Recently I attended LANarchy, a local LAN party with 30+ people. I -thought- my computer would at least somewhat fend for itself.. but alas. I saw myself drooling over AMAZING mods. And I thought LED's and fan's were...
