You have more resolve than me, after about of the week of it screwing with my windows with displayport losing the connection, I switched to dvi, so much nicer now not to have to deal with that.

I don't think you can really adjust the size of each windows, which is too bad because they don't take up nearly the whole screen.
The same thing happens with the nec 23 inch monitor with displayport. It's annoying, I think it just might be a trait of the displayport connection, at least for now. But if anyone has any suggestions to keep it connected, let us know.
That depends on what monitor you are considering, a 1080p tv has the same resolution as a 1920 x 1080 monitor, and you can usually get to look just as good even for text, the only problem is you need to be positioned further away from it than a smaller monitor or you lose pq. A lot of people...
