I had purchased my card yesterday and I got all of the rebates to begin the process online; now to mail them in. But the visa $10 off was a no go on my end, didnt show up on my invoice.
In that budget I would recommend a number from the JVC line. The JVC HA-RX700, or RX900 are very well liked with audiophiles that are on a budget. And if you are willing to spend a little more the DX1 and the DX3, from JVC, are known for blowing the 2 lesser quailty ones out of the water.

One more thing guys, fo the s1283 is there a recomended thermal compound. I read somewhere about thermal grease oxidizing the exposed copper. Is AS5 fine, or an Mx-2, or the included paste. If none of these please throw some names out.
