Lotus PC - Anyone heard anything about them?

Is anyone familiar with a company called Lotus PC (http://www.lotuspc.net/) in Florida? They offer some highly configurable system options and their pricing seems competitive. I also like the fact that they're "Made" (assembled) in the US.

Netflix's 2Q Numbers Disappoint, Stock Plunges

Personally I'd like to know why Netflix's HD streaming selection on PC is so much more restricted than on a TV peripheral. I only watch movies on my PC (I've got a huge monitor) and it sucks that many of the new HD movies Netflix is getting are only HD on a TV. I could buy a box for $50 that'll...

Ivy Bridge TDP of 95W instead of the promised 77W ...

Well I gave in and bought a 2500k and asus p8z77-v pro board from microcenter. I'll be picking them up after work and even with tax and gas (45 miles away) I'll only be paying $395 instead of ~ $560 had I gone with a 3770k. So if the 2500k proves to be inadequate once I get my second gtx 680 in...

EVGA giving away GTX 680 high flow brackets

The deluxe doesn't really offer anything over the pro that I care about.

Is the GTX 680 a DX 11.1 card?

I like that you edited it and it still looks like that. To contribute: Do you really think 2 years time is going to render a GTX 680 totally obsolete? I can play Skyrim at ~40 fps average on my > 4 year old midrange 8800 GTS 512. Sure, it's crap now, but it was never top end and it is 4 years...

    Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler

Wow, that is actually a pretty significant flex. I'd be worried about damage to the motherboard from stressing it like that over time. I may have to do something similar to this as I will be using an NH-D14 in my new system. Alternatively, I wonder if it would be possible to brace the back...

EVGA giving away GTX 680 high flow brackets

So has anyone received a shipping notification or tracking number or anything for this? I got the confirmation email but nothing else. Edit: This is all it said.

    Local Retailer has Z77 Mobos

Damn, wish I had that local retailer. Sadly I have to wait for ivy bridge anyway so getting the mobo now would do me no good but... Me want!

Feeling kinda underwhelmed with my 680 SLI

This seems to be a common issue with the GTX 680 SLI in certain games. It looks like the drivers need a bit of work, but given that this is a brand new card that's kind of to be expected. Give it a month, I'm sure things will improve.

    120 Hz Monitors... FPS?

Yes. Also, another advantage of 120hz monitors, is that in some cases they have better pixel overdrive systems which allow them to compensate for ghosting better than 60hz monitors, achieving low perceived response times. The main advantage of this is, in fast turns (in shooters) you'll still...

    Official GTX 680 Owner's Thread

So I'm going to be waiting until Ivy bridge and z77 boards are available to finish my new system, but until then I was wondering if I'd be safe putting my GTX 680 into my old system. My old system is *VERY* old. I built it four years ago. It has an E8400, an 8800 GTS 512 and what I think is a...

    [Kepler/GTX 680] Info's in... $400-450? + benches + thermals (56k warning)

The reviews seem to indicate that the 680 is quiet for a reference card. I personally intend to crank the fan up more as I'm used to a loud system and would gladly take some extra noise for a cooler running card.
