Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The Eizo EV2436 has the same panel than Dell U2412, but with a way better electronics (i.e. PWM free above 19% of brightness), a ton of features, a better quality control (made in Japan) and 5 years of warranty.
The Dell U2413 is wide gamut.
The choice is easy, do you need wide gamut? Go for...
@Namelessme:
I think you had some 4:3 units (NEC 2190Uxp). I'm interested in one of ebay and i need some advice. I sent you some PM, please, could you review it?
Many thanks
The EV2336 seems to be the only monitor with semiglossy coating, flicker free and standard gamut below 27". It has good users reviews in PRAD forums and Amazon.de.
Yeah, I've read the entire 2490Wuxi thread and i know its pros and cons. Maybe, because of that, i haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Ok, many thanks. If i finally decide to buy it, i'll ask you.
Yes, you can tell.

I couldn't say better¡¡¡
In fact, i'm still thinking to buy one NEC 2490Wuxy used from ebay. The problem is that the delivery costs to Europe are very expensive.
For a long time I'm wating for a decent 1920x1200 24" monitor. My priorities are: 1º No PWM 2º Soft Coating 3º sRGB (or wide gamut but with a good sRGB emulation)
I thought that in 2.013 i'd find this monitor, but i'm afraid that i wont find it.
A little review of the 2.013 new 1920x1200...
Yeah, i read your excellent review, but i wish to know if this high frequency PWM would bother me. That is, how is the performance of this PWM in the screen. When you look at the screen you feel it is flickering? If you do the shaking hand test you can see the strobo effect? How do you feel this...
@ufoncz:
I'm very sensitive to flicker. Do you think i could stand this monitor? Did you do the strobo shaking hand test in this monitor (something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ru474L8N15w)?
I've not read the review, but i think it will be like the review of the EV2436, where they suggest to buy a colorimeter in order to get the best of the monitor. In the case of the EV2436, it has a mediocre factory settings, but using a i1 Display Pro an user of PRAD Forum reaches a contrast...
