Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
For some light gaming it's fine.
Played:
Guild Wars 2
LoL
Diablo 3
Divinity: Original Sin
Starcraft 2
Random Steam games
Sure it's like 2-3 steps back from my old gaming machine, but it gets the job done.
If Jeanne D'arc didn't sit, Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre may not be your cup of tea, as it is essentially a watered down version of those two games, or maybe it is. I enjoyed all three but the latter two are just amazing games.
Don't forget, you can get a bunch of PS1 games on your RPG...
you can use the Mini DP in the Thunderbolt slot, and your mouse should work just fine. I carried over my old Deathadder onto my current MBP and it works as intended as does my Nostromo (well, when I used it that is). You may need to download the mapping software or some such though from Razer.
I previously owned the iPad 2, and decided to get rid of it for the following reasons:
1. size
2. storage capacity
The iPad 2 was just too...cumbersome for me though it was very pleasing in an aesthetic/tactile sense. It wasn't as portable as I would have liked and with the amount of comics...
Mid 2012 MBP is probably the last of the user upgradable ones, and can be had for a decent amount. I bought mine off the refurb store a couple years ago, but I think if you scour craigslist hard enough you'll find a deal.
You can throw in an SSD in the main slot, buy an optical bay adapter...
On my 2012 MBP, I added an SSD in the main bay and pulled out the optical drive to use for the HDD. Tried installing boot camp, and it just wouldn't go. It would hang part way through and just die when using an external USB superdrive.
So, I threw the optical drive back in, and lo and behold it...
I could be wrong since I haven't done it in a while, but I want to say that you can do that in OSX by going System > Preferences > Startup Disk > select Windows partition as your boot.
From here, I think the only way he can re-select the OSX partition is if he holds down the option button...
So far it looks similar, but the benefit to using iCloud Drive is probably greater for those heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem.
Also, Airdrop is now ubiquitous!
Seems like they just baked Alfred into Yosemite. Hopefully it's as flexible as Alfred.
I think iCloud drive is a step in the right direction for photo management...
Currently watching at work on Twitch since we don't have macs, but it looks like OSX Yosemite has gone flat as reported earlier.
So far, it looks pretty clean and slick.
