Hulu Mulls Sale After Receiving Buyout Offer

It's gotta be MSFT. They would love to add this to thier portfolio. It would complement their Xbox Live TV and dying Internet TV channel in Media Center. Netflix is on their board of directors and wants to be everywhere so I don't see this damaging any partnerships with them. MS + Hulu sounds...

I've been looking into this myself. There are a couple pluggin's for Media Center that get Hulu and Netflix working plus a few that improve playback for a ripped movie library. Hulu: http://secondrun.tv/ Netflix: vmcNetflix...

    Videocard ? 9800 GX2, 280GTX, 4870x2....

You really shouldn't compare the number of shader units. Despite ATI having over 3 times the shaders of the Nvidia chip, ATI's shaders take up about 40% fewer transistors... ( NV at 1.4 billion , ATI at 956 million). This is one to leave up to the benchmarks.

ATI and NVIDIA in same rig?

Great question and I've been asking the same thing myself. I'm looking to upgrade to a 4850 and keep my 8600GT as a dedicated Physx / Cuda processor. According to an article on guru3d, you can do this with 2 different nvidia cards. They used a GX280 and a 9600gt.

    65w 5000+ BE(2.6ghz), or 89w 5800 (3.0ghz)

5400+ BE?! Well that just made your decision easy. 2.8ghz is a nice stock speed for Athlon's. It gives you the full 800mhz clock speed for your memory.

    65w 5000+ BE(2.6ghz), or 89w 5800 (3.0ghz)

+1 on the 5800+... I upgraded to one from a X2 3600+ and its a hell of a big difference at stock clocks. I considered the 5000+ BE until I realized that I would be trying to overclock it to 3ghz when this one ships at that clock. I don't know if Cool n' Quiet matters to you, but...
