I checked HD speed using Si Sandra. Hard drive transfer rates were good at 36K
I disabled the indexing service. This did eliminate a lot of the random seeking.
All my drives are set to DMA.
I have run spyware to remove any offending software. Nothing found.
Any posibility that the Nvidia IDE drivers are causing the problem and that reverting back to the MS IDE drivers would help?
