To answer you more directly, yes, yes I did. A remaster is a remaster regardless of whether it's free or paid. I was simply throwing a critique out there that I'd prefer to have seen the movement remastered over all of these new graphics options.

Let's not pretend that they gave us a free update purely out of the kindness of their hearts. Yes, it was a nice gesture. But these updates are being done for Songs of the Past which is very much not free. Regardless of free or paid, they put in a lot of effort to remaster the game. So why not...

I really wish they remastered the movement. I'd argue that movement is more important than graphics in this case. The remaster provides a nice fresh coat of paint but Geralt remains stiff as a board. If the Tomb Raider I-III remasters can add modern controls and movement, I don't see why this can't.

That's the weird thing, I don't see any huge bumps or bruises on the box. One thing I noticed is that there's no foam in the box. The monitor is surrounded by pretty stiff cardboard so I think one good drop is all it would take.
