thanks by explaining that. And i use higher than 640 in other games.. just not in cs 1.6. but i will change it now, and install the newest drivers etc, and check if it works better then, even though i have tried it, but i will test the res thing.
so i solve that by getting my self a new cpu or what? or is it possible with that 2400+ i have? Cause what i've heard i should be able to have really good fps still with that cpu, because of the gfx card..
And you said that the res is cpu limited, should i then change res or the above..?
Yeah its a vivo.. i formatted c: when inserted the new ati card.. and i'm playing in 640 res.. so its really weird.. before i had 99-about 80 fps.. with gf2 pro.. but with this x800 i should have 99 .. now i have 99-70 even 65 when it gets really rough.. And cpu limited?
I have xp2400+, 1024 RAM and just bought powercolor x800 pro. Before i had gf2 pro, but after i've bought x800, i don't even have 99 fps in cs. Looks like i even had better performance with my old gf2 pro card, at least in cs. Anyone that can help me?
