Got a problem, my comp one day just froze up and restarted itself, when I came back on and was webbrowsing, I noticed all my bookmarks were gone....anyway to get em back? I use Firefox
It doesn't matter weather I buy online or offline. I'd rather buy offline from Fry's Electronics for two reasons
1.) I live right down the street from the store
2.) I work there = employee discount
I could probably buy it online for the same as it would cost me at Fry's, but I'd have to...
was walking through Fry's Electronics today...saw 9800 pro more than x700 by like...100bucks. Now I don't do drugs, and I wasn't drunk. Is the 9800 pro a better card than x700? If not, why more $$$?
Or maybe it was just mis-priced?
By whole chipset I mean all the little micro processor things cause I got all these mini-heatsinks that came with the purchase. And in regards to the rubbing alcohol, are you sure thats going to work? It won't mess up my card to the point where it will just short circuit would it? And how would...
alright. I'll do that when I get home. How much of the thermal paste am I suppose to use? it is suppose to cover the whole damn chipset or just a little bit of it? And should I clean off the OLD thermal paste from the stock heatsink?
Well ever since I installed my new heatsink and fan on my video card, it's been producing a lot of random green lines and just ugly stuff when I try to watch normal videos. I jumped into Counter-strike and it all glitchy...whats going on? is it soemthing ON my card...or is it just over heating?
alright well i just got a new heat sink from a local fry's electronics and now i can actuallyr un my pc with my case closed...but my screen is all glitchy.
Ex. When I run movies, there are green bars running through and stuff.
Same with video games....
whats the problem now?
Yeah I have a 9800 pro and my fan stopped spinning. My bro and I took it off and decided we need a new one. The heatsink is still on but obviously I need the fan. Does anyone know where I can get a fan that will hook up to my 9800 pro?
