yes, i searched the term you mention and its indeed used for this issue
also i just came across another thread on this forum about the dell p2314h
https://hardforum.com/threads/dell-p2314h-pixelated.1821649/
ok, hi, im searching for a budget 24" 1080p ips monitor
as far as i know most ips models from dell//hp/lg/asus/acer/aoc/viewsonic are virtually the same products with a different logo
and i know that the latest ips panels have this blue/orange pixelation (mostly vertical) issue
and since all...
friend, take a break and see what the questions are and what your answers are
im asking questions about the specifications and your answer is to keep repeating the specifications
so let me be clear, i do have read the specifications of both the motherboards i have mentioned, because that is...
thank you for the replies
i really dont see your point, i wrote the same thing in my first post, here:
also i know there are exceptions like the other motherboard you mentioned
-
like you said, the total bandwidth of the chipset lanes is 4.0 x4 pci-e lanes
if you add the maximum bandwidth of...
(this is about question 2)
jandor, once again:
- CHIPSET: 1 x PCI Express 4.0 x 16 slots (max. at x8 mode)
thats a chipset pci-e 4.0 x16 (x8) not a cpu pci-e 4.0 x16 (x16 - dual x8)
so how is that possible? the chipset's total bandwidth should be 4.0 x4
i dont think the M.2 part is happening, did AMD said something like that is it just what you want?
im asking because i want the same things
although i would prefer the M.2 slots to also be cpu fed (but still onboard without a pci-e card) which i dont think is possible with gen 3.0
hope this isnt considered a necro
as far as i know the on board M.2 slots on Intel are connected to the chipset
so they shouldnt share pci-e lanes with the gpu unless you are not using the first pci-e slot for the gpu
and no, each M.2 might be connected to a x4 which makes you think they are x8...
hi all, two quick questions
1)
many x570 motherboards (for example MSI MPG x570 Gaming Edge Wifi) list the chipset M.2 slot as 3.0 x4
now i know that the x570 chipset should have a total of 4.0 x4
so i suppose that the chipset M.2 slot has 4.0 x2 and they just write it as 3.0 x4?
what makes me...
z170 m/bs don't support intel 7xxx cpus out of the box, u might need to boot with a different cpu in order to update
i think z270 offers more pci-e (pch/dmi) lanes
afaik you ll find cheaper m/bs with two M.2 slots in z270
on a side note intel 7xxxs support 2400Mhz RAM without o/c which can...
i actually wanted to ask you about TRIM support for RAID 1 / mirror again because i found this article about Intel RST drivers
here is a quote (two paragraphs above 'The Requirements' header) from the ARTICLE:
"Intel eventually added TRIM support in its RAID drivers for RAID-1 (mirrored)...
i don't see how you wouldn't see an improvement with a faster drive for any modern editor
startup/database/file/plugin loading involves reading many+large files and it still takes load of time with any disk
that's why people refer to some editors as hosts, suites, workstations etc, because they...
yeah i know about Windows support, my question was indeed about those new (to me at least) motherboard M.2 RAID configurations
RAID 1 is indeed what im personally interested in (given that the OP's questions about R0 have been answered)
so i take it there is no TRIM? that's a problem, no?
the...
^AMD's new Ryzen platform would be offering an M.2 slot fed directly via CPU if im not mistaken
i don't know what happens when u setup a RAID between this M.2 slot and the other one which would be fed via the PCH/DMI though
--------
but i wanted to ask a question
talking about RAID 0/1...
