    css aligning problems

Hey guys. Usually lurk around here but I've found myself in a predicament. I am having some css display problems myself which I haven't been able to solve (well, partially). I'm trying to get a table-like display without using tables (see picture) like this: I've been able to get one of...

Any other barcode readers besides Symbol?

I haven't exactly dealt with barcode systems but a name that always appeared in random pc magazines is the WASP barcoding system located here: http://www.waspbarcode.com/default2.asp I'm not sure what you meant by supporting windows CE but some of their products are run on windows ce (like...

Video Editing Software... Premiere, Final Cut Pro etc...

I think Premiere Pro 1.5 supports HD content, but not too sure. I started editing with premiere pro, despite its steep learning curve, the more you venture into it the more you learn. I found it pretty easy to use after a while and it worked great for my purposes (just some movies for classes)

    AVI woes

Try using old versionf of xvid, or just get the defilerpak. Yeah i've heard all the madness about how codec packs are detrimental and what not, but I haven't gone across a video file which I couldn't play.

Anyone excited about the new Thinkpad Z Series?

I think it'll be great, but I just hope it doesn't lose its status as being known as one of the top notebooks in its class (consumer or otherwise) for being sturdy and reliable. it's nice that they have updated and become more "modernized." I would love to test and check it out.

FBLA Networking Design Case - Help Me Out!

Nah, I just competed at state and got 3rd place. You needed to be at the top 2 to compete in finals (which were held in Denver, Colorado, which I also went to as well)

FBLA Networking Design Case - Help Me Out!

I competed in this event last year; I read the same exact case study and it's not very hard since you have some information. You have a lot of stuff to work with. At competition, however, it is very different; I'm not sure how your state runs it, but last year in California they gave a very...

Sluggish performance on a top computer. Help!

What he said. Just for emphasis. Runnin win98 is extremely fast (boots up almost instanenously, though a bit slower than winMe) your best bet for performance is to get upgraded to windows 2k or xp (preferably). otherwise, that seems kind of a waste for a system like that. Most newer games want...

New computer for an engineering student

mm not an engineering student, but a student taking CAD in high school. the lab used to have p2 (or p3) 633 mhz with 384 megs of ram on NT 4.0 SP 6, and autocad 2002 ran decently. we recently upgraded to 2.66 w/ 1 gig of ram and quadro 4's and it runs really nice. I'd say at least a p4 2.4 with...

    Thinner crt?

hmm to apply something we learned in physics or what not. but basically the bigger the screen, the bigger the electron ray gun, thus the bigger the actual monitor size. but if you want a nice 17", i think phillips makes one where it takes up just bout the same space as an average 15" crt
