    After all the blather about how "next generation" superiority favored AMD, once again turns out to be hot air. with the RX 480 I did notice some texture flickering that was not present on the GTX 1060, oops.

    Compared to the Radeon RX 480, everything is improved at the cost of only $60, which results in a price-performance ratio that is 10% worse, something I'd go for any day. From techpowerup. MSI gaming 1060 way better and cheaper.

    Get a custom cooled overclocked from EVGA or one of the others. Faster cooler, better PCB for smooth power, and no throttling issues. They will beat the FE by 20% which is plenty fast. The rumored big daddy Pascal gaming cards won't be out until early next year and they will be monsters, but...
