    So I have my PS2 connected via component to my Dell 2407, which works fine, until I borrowed a copy of MGS and won't display the game The white background Playstation logo displays but as soon as the game loads, it goes out of range. Any ideas?

    Skype subscription + phone adaptor is the way forward. Unlimited land-line calls, have her set up a US number and you a UK one.

    It won't work. The consoles will output an interlaced image for use on a TV, however the monitor won't have a deinterlacer. So you'll need something like the video game jockey to deinterlace the signal so that it can be displayed on a mointor.

    I pre-order some games. But then I don't have to pre-pay for them so its not a big deal if I decide I don't want it.
