I'm getting more and more into this, it's Alpha Squad worth getting? Even if it's just to support the game. Any idea if it will be available when the game releases?
So I have my PS2 connected via component to my Dell 2407, which works fine, until I borrowed a copy of MGS and won't display the game
The white background Playstation logo displays but as soon as the game loads, it goes out of range.
Any ideas?
It won't work. The consoles will output an interlaced image for use on a TV, however the monitor won't have a deinterlacer. So you'll need something like the video game jockey to deinterlace the signal so that it can be displayed on a mointor.
360 for me, only because thats the only current-gen console I have. In an ideal world though, it would be on the 360 but played with a PS3 pad. Never played GTA with an Xbox pad, going to be straange ;)
Happened with mine, the button just needs to be in the correct orientation for it to switch on. I do have a four-year warranty on it, so might as well hold out for a bit and hope I get a 2408! :D
So I have a 2407 that has a busted power button, I still have 2 years left on the warranty. If I wait long enough could I get a 2408 instead? :p
Would it be worth it?
Damn, I feel really bad for downloading SupCom now. But I also just order it + the expansion off Amazon, so that should be okay :p
Odd that CT is now saying this, yet a note from him in the readme says
Reviews of it at the time did put it as an hardcore RTS. I really enjoyed the...
That one has 22A on each 12V rail while my Noisetaker 485W has dual 18As. Odd
Anyways, powers the setup in my sig fine without any problems.
Although I don't mean too, seems like every 12-18 months.
But I have since changed from a 19" monitor to a 24" so I can see the time coming down possibly
For some games its ideal to install them on a different drive, in my experience all steam games and WoW work without having to reinstall; just gotta run the .exe :p
1920x 1200 isn't quite as insane to run as people make out. System is in sig, managed to play all my games at native res with most of the settings cranked high (apart from AA, I can't see the difference).
Sure haven't tried most of the newer games (Bioshock, MOH:Airborne), but ET:QW beta...
Yep, I'm in on this. Got a PS2 just to play GTA:SA, the only difference was that the PS2 was a lot older, so I managed to get one from a dude for £30. Did have a hole in the top of it though. :p
Have a Wii and PS2 hooked up to my 2407 A04 via component. Looks pretty good to my eyes when sat back, looks like crap when viewing at usual PC monitor distances.
Because I just wanted to disks to be seperate, and I thought (at the time) it was the way to do it.
I've formatted the 120gb disk for use on my Infinity NF4X, so hooking them both back and formatting again may work?
I do have a program that can retrive stuff from broken disks, but this...
I had a 120 and 300 gb Maxtors running in a JBOD on my KV8 PRO. Having now upgraded to an NF4 board, the disk is now shown as unformatted.
Now before I begin to cry and send this disk somewhere, is there anything I can do?
It used to be the only thing I used to do. But I have faar too much school work to do to play for any real length of time anymore. I do play Wii a bit though, its good for a quick half-hour blast inbetween revising.
