Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Exactly. It looks horrible compared to any of the TV's I hooked it up to (even an old Westinghouse).
Is there any way to make it look decent? Seems pointless to have good inputs if they look terrible.
Hmm, maybe I underestimated this monitor, considering its age? I hooked my Xbox 360 to it and frankly, it didn't look that great. For computer stuff it's great, but I want a higher resolution...
I've had this monitor for a few years, and was hoping to get something that has a higher resolution and better colors. How do newer monitors compare?
My price range is around $250, and I primarily do surfing/office tasks with it, but there will be some light gaming/movie usage as well...
Been reading and doing a ton of research, and am seriously looking into getting the Panasonic TC-P42G10 to use as a computer monitor, gaming (PC/console), and movies. Anyone used a plasma as a PC monitor? From what I've read, I don't think burn in will be an issue (especially after breaking it...
You're pretty much doing the exact same thing I did about a week ago...started looking at displays, liked the LN40B550/650, then saw the G10...
Gotta say I'm leaning towards the G10, even though I'll be using it a decent amount as a computer monitor. After doing a ton of reading, I found out...
I just got this monitor in from Directron...so far looks amazing! I've looked around and have seen lots of different suggested settings...what does everyone like? Please be specific as to what you do with the settings (gaming, web surfing, etc.)
Hmm...currently using a 22" Westinghouse (LCM-22W2) and a 15" Viewsonic, so this seems pretty tempting...
If I did get it, should I use it as primary or secondary? As in, are the colors etc. so much better that I should use the NEC as my primary and the larger Westy as my secondary?
I've recently decided to do some upgrades on this system, and was thinking there might be a way to reduce the noise of the computer. Most of the noise is coming from the case fans (stock with the case). What would I need to do to cut back some of the noise?
Link to case (no longer made)
