    there is a registry value for tablet mode... turn it off and then restart... i've been running the 8 beta since day 2 like this. it runs just like 7. ***edit*** i do have to add that it didnt like it after the first reboot... after a shutdown/bootup it was fine. otherwise it was a deal breaker...
