Thanks for the reply. I was using coretemp to measure the temp a Tjunction of 100. I guess I am just weary at running at these temps when, from what I've read on these forums, the split between over 60C being safe is around 50/50. I think I will keep it at these temps for a while though...

I just had my raid fail so I had to reload my OS and everything else but it gave me a chance to mess with the clocks a bit. Sorry to say I am getting worse temps now with just about the same settings. Here is a previous thread of my OC before my crash...

Got home and Prime had been running for 4 hours, looks like I am stable. The only problem is load temps were 63c. Little hot in my opinion. Looks like I will dial back to 3.7 and call it good.

Very nice, I guess I will have to do some reading about how a lower multiplier effects performance and mayube go that route. I have my computer running Prime now to see if it will be running and stable at 3.8 when I get home. I increased the volts to 1.5 to see if it would pass a stress test...

Thanks alot for the replies :) I figured I could put my vcore up to 1.5 but wasn't sure if it was a good idea to have the vcore that high all the time. Has anyone else ran 1.5 volts on this proc, has anyone heard any horror stories of these burning up at that voltage? I know they havent...

Just wondering if anyone could take a look and give me some sort of advice. Idle temp is around 35c to 40c. Memory timings and FSB seemed to limit me at first. I was stuck at 3.5 on the proc but I lowered my memory fsb to run 1:1 and tightened the timings up from 5-5-5-15 to 4-4-4-12. With...
