naaaaaaaaa my friend has a 9600 xt and he playes battlefield 2 at max settings just the lighting is in med mode its not a good reson maybe the driver try to put the 5.8

and about fear i have a 6800gt oc to 415/1150 and fear runs like dream in full graphica mode in max with soft shadows on 1280*1024 and the fps was 44 6xaa 16xaf with now slow downs in the fps and fear has a problem with the gamers that have 1gb

the fastest agp card that the world have seen is the powercolor radeon x850 xt pe is the top of the line in agp cards

this problem is from the driver update to 5.8 and the problem wil be fixed i had the same problem 2

update you driver to the new driver the 77.77 you well have less problems with the games

you can push it even to 1.8 if you have a good cooled card and a good motherboard

one of them have 750mhz the speed of memory and the other have 700 and belive me my friend have one and the stock speed of the memory is 750

this problem come out from the memory you must have 2gb of memory to run this game in full graphica mode with maxiumum in cpu and ram performance i have 2gb with geforce 6800 gt and the game runs like horse

did you installed the drivers form nvidia or form the disc of the graphic card

i think that the radeon x800 xt (this card is not an pe edetion) is more powerfull than the 6800 gt
