Well I didn't check the other boards, I just went by the message I received from eno. Swapping those 2 boards did not correct it. If a short is occurring in the tube, perhaps my multi-meter will tell me just that.

I will check out those videos. I traced the connection down to CN654 off the power supply. It feeds power to the deflection board from the looks of it. I'll have to pull it out and see if there's bad joints there.

He said to either ship the monitor to him (but I pay return shipping), or make a claim with FedEx and I get all my money when they pick it up. I'll make a claim tomorrow.
