This is true, so please don't rag me. I checked online and it said my closest BB had the cards in stock. I wasn't buying it, so I went down there and sure enough the 8800GT row was empty. While I was standing there, a kid came up and stocked 5 of them. By the time I left, they were all gone. True.
If anybody's curious, I got it whipped. It turns out trying to repair windows does not work, I had to do a complete install. After that and installing all up dates and drivers, she's solid as a rock
Fellas, I've seen simular posts, but this is killing me. I have a K8N Neo4 Platinum, that had a 4000+ and ran great, but I put on a 4800+ X2 and when it booted the desktop came up said it found new hardware

Funny thing is, I thought mine was an architechural problem. The manual says that if all four slots are filled with double side RAM, the max recognized speed is DDR333. Before I flashed my unit, it was not stable above 200fsb, now no problems well above.

I hate to say anything, but mine is running like a charm since I flashed it.(Don't want to curse myself) I'm able to get my 4x 512 Corsair to run above 200fsb. Solid as a rock.
