My brightness/contrast is 60/60.

Both of mine do, weird. They are under something very low but that shouldn't make it get to a temperature that could easily burn me..

Is it just me or do these monitors get extremely hot? The top metal part on both of mine gets to be so hot you can't even keep your hand on it for more then 5 seconds after hours of use. It that supposed to happen?

After using these for a bit I have a few questions. Should I keep video overdrive on? Is that the equivalent of game mode on the U2410? We never saw any input lag tests with that option on, maybe there will be a difference? Didn't earlier reviewers state no such mode exists? Should I put...

Ya that's me, I wish we could have swapped! I wish they shipped from the nearest warehouse to your location that had the sock...I am sure I would have gotten it yesterday or today, but noooo my luck gets the farthest possible location from me! Grab a CRT monitor, a VGA splitter, and a camera. Then with those take pictures of the lagtime vs the CRT monitor. That's what we to see, not what dead pixels your screen has on it.

Not that they know of. I really hope this is good in games, if it performs poorly I will be disappointed since I ordered 2 of them and I do play fast paced FPS games.

I was so close to ordering the Dell U2410 but after reading this thread, http://en.community.dell.com/forums/t/19302919.aspx I quickly closed the window. I just ordered 2 of the HP's, hopefully they are good monitors! I have been watching this thread for a while and trying to wait...
