My chipset gets very hot, the case thermometer reads 50 C sometimes and thats just measuring the temp of the heatsink. Should i get a new heatsink and if so what one?
The primary goal here is to cool the case better, it gets kind of toasty. The secondary goal is to filter the air with fan filters.
Heres my case:

First of all, good choice on the Foxconn. I've tried the Biostar, the DFI and then finally the Foxconn before i did not have problems. It is an excellent overclocker(much better than either Biostars I had) and has had no problems since day 1. Although the Bios is kind of a hassle to update...
Hey I have to say... from my experience these past two months, the Biostar has proven to be a really bad board. The first one had broken ethernet(a known problem with the rev 1.1 boards), it was also not a very good overclocker because the Vcore voltage fluctuated like a mofo. The second one I...
My RS482 board had restarting problems, and I've now gone through two Biostar boards with defects. First one had broken NIC, and the second one had a broken ram slot. So now, I don't know what to do. What are my other options?
I dont know anything about that case, but you should tell ppl your price limit on the cpu and graphics card. And why the 7800? Get the 7900 gt and I would choose evga because you get a life time warranty and overclocking and changing the heatsink does not void this, unless theres physical...
I sent an email to the tech support saying that after trying a different motherboard and power supply, it still wouldn't work.
His Respone:
I have heard of a few users with that problem and they moved to a much higher rated power supply like this one and the problems went...
my new 450w fsp came, and am running on it now. All the rails seem solid, and for 50 bucks! I was kinda worried because it was so cheap, but it looks like they made a solid psu without all the pretty sleaving, leds, and colors so it's cheap. We'll see if it reboots... I'm kinda stuck with...
well i just upped my southbridge, and northbridge(would northbridge matter?) volts by .1 and am testing it out. will let you know what happens. Also, my cpu voltage went from a steady 1.39 volts to fluctions between 1.36-1.37. If that means anything lol...
UPDATE: It didn't do anything...
