Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Deathadder isn't my favorite mouse. The copperhead is, but they don't make those anymore. Fortunately, there are still downloadable drivers for DA. So, once they kill DA, I'll be sure and get *10* of them to last me hopefully for the next 5 years :p ... Or attempt to look for another mouse...
I think the source images are stored on here somewhere... dunno how to grab 'em though. There's image source reference to the sub directory:

but doesn't seem to work when I try to access it.
Good lord, man. You're not a nice person. You keep picking on the idea that I lacking certain fragments of technical information makes me an inferior tech. You're spending way too much time bullying me on the subject. And you know what they say about bullies.
If I wasn't trying to seek help...
Well, there goes your attempt to not insult me. But, for what it's worth, I'm working on getting my A+ cert, not just getting it. There's a big difference there. And, as it is implied that you know, you should know that the A+ cert is geared mostly towards troubleshooting and fixing...
Looks pretty good :D Thanks for the bench screen, BusyBeaver! I got til the 29th to make my final decision on if I should take advantage of that 15% off deal. If I get that during a video capture would be awesome.
I'll consider investing in a new system just to see the results first hand. Besides, I kind of need to anyway since I'm working on my A+ Cert. The one thing I'm still skeptical on, which makes me want to stay where I'm at, is the GPU and the DX rendering. Newer versions of DX seem to get...
I guess I should explain why I'm still on a Single core processor. It's probably not a good reason, but I guess I'm old fashioned: It's raw power. These multicore processors, particularly with older applications such as the one I'll be doing the video capturing in (Unreal Tech 2.5 engine game...
From my experience, it usually is either the version of Fraps or the lack of available resources from either too many programs loaded or just the wrong ones loaded. I try to turn off every single possible service/app there is whenever I intend to publish a game video.
I've read HDD's can't necessarily take advantage of Sata 6Gbps like SSDs could. Is that true?
Luckily I don't have to choose just the VRs, all WD 3.5" hard disks are currently 15% on newegg... 3.5" being the form factor of the package, mind you ;)
Yes, the sig is still valid :)
Plus, I'll be playing a game that was made in 2004 based off the Unreal Tech 2.5 engine, and will be using Fraps to capture the game videos.
From my understanding, it will be $460 for two. I was hoping that these drives would benefit especially in raid 0. I've...
