Turns out the drive was bad. Sorry for the long pause in reply got pulled away for a bit.

Total nube, learning though. Dell T7910 barebones’ish when bought. Added 4 2.5”hdd 2 3.5” drives, and a 256gb m.2 pcie adapter successfully. Or at least they show up in disk managment. Trouble is I also bought a 18tb hdd that is doing something, but not making any progress for the past 2 days...
