all the hardware is brand new. i have RMA'd the card already because I thought it was defective. the software is fresh install of XP with no crap on the system to bog it down. the card has never been overclocked and im using the drivers from the Nvidia website. thats what im needing help...
I have a BFG tech 6800 Ultra and when it is in my computer running at settings it should easily be able to handle i get in game freezes.

the symptoms of that guys laptop on techrepublic seems to be much worse than mine since mine will turn on and function normally in windows for 1-2 minutes before it decides to shut off.

i just put together a new system and when i try to install winXP it says it cant detect a hard drive. i have never dealt with a SATA drive before but is there drivers i have to install so XP setup can see the hard drive. here are the specs for my system.
