Thanks for the details, tungt88, appreciate it.
I'm looking at used i1 Display 2 and would buy SV II for nec. Let's see how it goes.
For the colormunki, NEC website says the below calibrator is supported by SVII:
• X-Rite ColorMunki
Reference here.
Thanks, how about the X-rite colormunki display? I think it's a spectrophotometer, will it be a good combination to use with the stock software for any screens like CCFL or LED..etc?
Budget right now is $150, I wont be printing on paper but want to make sure the colors look appropriate on the...
That's a great idea tungt88, I will definitely explore more on this. I have few questions here:
- i1 display can be from GretagMacbeth or only X-rite? (at ebay)
- Any restriction how old they can be? I dont know if colorimeter sensors lose capacity over time.
- This SVII and i1D2 works on mbp...
So I bought a used LCD2490 monitor and feel the colors are bit more different from mbp 13". I don't say the colors are off because none of the devices are calibrated. I want to make sure both are in same color as I do loads of photography editing. I do not print photos on paper but share it...
Yeah tried the settings by resetting everything from OSD and suddenly the resolution has jumped to 1600x1200 which is not sharp enough and even though I select 1920x1200 in mbp it doesn't reflect on the monitor. I'm not sure where the issue is.
Like Namelessme, said I could see that mbp colors...
Thanks to both of you, when I say the colors are off, I mean it looks pleasant on MBP, has that cool effect. But in this monitor, it has that dull color on it.
Also I could not complete the lagom test, as MBP loses internet when used as mirror display or extended display without external...
So the monitor arrived (used LCD2490) and it has less than 10k hours and I feel the colors are completely off from MBP13" (which drives it). I would like to know if I can buy any calibrator (hardware or software) to work with this monitor or only SV?
I'm also doing the lagom test, yet to...
Hello all, bought an used 2490Wuxi and should arrive in about 10-12 days, any suggestions on the quick check to be done for the monitor? I would be using it with my mbp 13" (mainly for html design, photography and software development).
Looking forward to it to arrive!!!
Due to unavoidable situation I couldn't place my order now will do so in another 3-4 days. But yeah the shipping charges were 54Euros, totaling the price to $465 including shipping. It's an awesome deal for this monitor.
Eizo NA says, the monitor is covered under warranty here too.
I wish...
fnatic.com (european website) was shipping it to US for about $470 than $590 if buying it in US. I'm not sure if this monitor will ever be in stock with them again.
Edit: They are in stock now. I'm gonna place the order!!!
