    Got mine from the Egg this afternoon (ordered Tuesday). I'm running an R290 (stock, no OC'ing) and I cannot get above 85 Hz. All the refresh options display as available in CCC, but choosing anything higher causes the screen to either immediately blank and go to "No Signal", or flash a few times...

    Thanks for the reply DNA Doc. Heh, I must have slipped up on the build -- 2 HD's should be plenty, not sure where that 3rd one came from. Glad to hear that the dual 7800GT approach works well, I think that's what I'll go with.

    9600XT with a 20" LCD?

    So, along with what seems like a whole lot of other people, I'm thinking about going with an LCD. My big concern, though, is my vid card, which is a Saphire 9600XT (my system is an A64 3000, 1 gig ddr400). I'm planning on building a new system later in the year, and will go PCI-e at that point...
