    LG 32GS95UE – OLED 31.5″ with 4K @ 240Hz and 1080p @ 480Hz Support - The death knell of LCD panels

I have personally seen 580, 603 and 1300 post update. I think at least part of the issue is the HDR calibration app and windows HDR management being absolute garbage.

Haven't done any measurements or much testing of the new firmware yet (I also don't know how to measure EOTF) BUT I did notice that the windows calibration tool now peaks at 580 instead of 603, and if I disregard that and set it to peak at 1300 the 1% window in the below video is much brighter...

LG support reps are hardcore nerfed by higher ups and pretty much recite documentation, which is also poor at LG. This rep must have gone out of their way to get info about the peak brightness update.

Yes but don't see how that's relevant, the color profile for SDR isn't used when HDR is enabled.

SDR still looks horrible with HDR on with this monitor, and guessing what's right with a slider has always been crazy to me.

Which gamma setting are you guys using? I hate how many options are dumbed down in the OSD--"Gamme 1-4" are meaningless, as are peak brightness high/low. Gamma 1 matches my GN950 on gamma 2 the best but i feel like that can't be right.

I don't think there's the same demand, 34" oleds have been available for awhile now, still low DPI and it has an 800R curve.

I ordered from BB, will keep my order from LG for now. At least I can try it and return it from BB, LG has a 15% restocking fee if I end up wanting to return it.

LG fully charged my card today so hopefully that's a good sign

Yeah, it said 4/15 when I ordered, then went to 4/19 a couple days later so that's why I'm not sure when mine will ship. It is what it is, I'm assuming I'm in the May window now. At least the charge dropped off my card finally.

Seems like LG is heavily backordered, they won't even give an ETA for my order on 4/14.
