Both cards are nice but i would pick the MSI nothing like having two fans that run quiet than one that will ramp up when things get warm......

Maybe you have to go into to the monitor settings and choose hdmi instead of dvi input!

OK after installing drivers all I can say is WOW cant believe the difference in crisis MP,with the 13.2beta3 drivers with all settings maxed out and res set at 1920x1080 res the airport map would crawl,now it plays perfect cant believe how drivers make a difference.As said before feels like a...

That's odd I have a XFX 7850 and that's how I have my monitor working is through HDMI,I take it you have the newest 13.2 beta4 drivers installed.

So you have a new card with new psu and other cards were crappy....ummm sounds like you found the problem to begin with,dont blame the cards........

After a few years when I upgrade again this card will go in a server or HTPC,doesnt take much for either one so ya it could have a permanent home. Different strokes for different folks I guess,good luck in what ever card you choose.

Im not sure about visiontek but if there reference cards they cant be to much different.But the reason I choose XFX was for the life time warranty,to me that was a big deciding factor in choosing that company. Also the cooling was a nice bonus with 2 fans and heat pipe and all.

Well I just got my xfx black edition 7850 2 gig card on 1/4/2013 from newegg it's factory overclocked and so far not having any problems at all.The card is a beast and runs every game I throw at it at max settings and at 1920x1080res including BF3.And its very quiet even at long sessions of game...

I just got a xfx black edition 7850, using the beta drivers everything works fine so far in games ive played,should I also install cap!this is my first amd card in many years.....not to familiar with there drivers.
