Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I hear you there.... but, I've been noticing that a lot of this is actually in the source material. I'm just starting to get my Westy set up... but have noticed this more and more when watching stuff, even on the CRT I'm replacing.
I'm quite sensitive to this too... so I'll have to report...
No, you shouldn't. Your graphics card probably really is a DVI-I (outputs digital... and analog with an adapter, like s-video). I'm pretty sure a DVI-D cable will plug into that... it is the westy side that limits the connector used, as it is without the 4 analog pins.
I have the DVD-I port on...
Interesting... thanks. Anyone know of a place in the US that sells it? Otherwise, by the time I shipped, put in a case, got power, etc.... I think it would be over $100 anyway.
Also.... just found this:
http://www.zzounds.com/item--BEHADA8000
which would fix me up for several devices at...
Hehe.... well, it's more subjective than that. 'Bad' might be too strong of a term depending on your goal. If you are a destination shopper... you'll not like Ikea. If you like to spend an afternoon browsing through tons of environments set-up with the products to get ideas... (and stop for...
I'm wondering if anyone knows of an inexpensive DAC that might be similar in quality to what would be on a typical receiver.
Here is my situation, and reason for asking...
I have a Yamaha HTR-5890, which I'm quite pleased with. However, it seems that its 'zone 2' and 'zone 3' outputs can...
I agree. I ended up doing a lot of measuring, and talked my wife into the idea that 37" wasn't too huge... and went with the Westy 37w3 (should be her Wed... whoo hoo)... but this BenQ would have probably been my next choice if I had to stay with the 24" size. It does look like a great monitor...
Hehe.... I take it you've never been to an Ikea. It is a pretty nuts experience... you can have just as bad of luck at the actual store as you did on-line... LOL (but the meatballs are good in the cafe.)
You run around this HUGE store with a cart that is laid out like a rat maze... and pick...
Well.... I'll soon be a member of the club.
I got shipment confirmation from PCNation.com this evening. I ordered it late in the day on Thurs. They called Friday AM to confirm the info, and shipped in the evening. 3-day fed-ex for free... so should be here Wednesday according to...
You'll have to wait and see what type of audio out the cable box has on it.
If it has HDMI, then that should send the video and sound to the Westy.... an HDMI cable and you're done.
If it has DVI, then you'll need to get sound to it another way (analog or optical).
Analog:
I'd guess if...
Thanks.... I agree. I was just wondering if I need to order cables, and couldn't find any info on what was in the box. I've heard great things about monoprice and I have usually ordered in the past from pacificcable.com. The cables I've gotten have always been better quality than anything I...
Also... take this for what it is worth, but someone posted on AVS forums that they waited a long time to get through to Westy..... but spoke with a rep (and the person posted the name, case #, etc.) that the 37" is not discontinued. They said that it will be produced for approx. 6 months yet...
It is a REALLY strong desk. It can also be set up a number of different ways... height is variable, etc. There are also add-ons available for it. You can get an extension to go up one more level with another shelf above. There are small swinging 'table' like attachments for a printer or scanner...
The thing is they just don't know. They don't know what serial number the updates started with.... they just know that their factory started applying them in December. I'm guessing it might not be Dec. 1 or anything either. Add in stock at dealers, how distribution happens, etc.... and you might...
I'd like to believe this... but I think the logic is a bit faulty. Do you have some other reason why they are not being discontinued? The site doesn't have the new models that have already been released, so they are probably just behind in updating it. The new model line announcements list...
