    Thanks for the replies. I had a Samsung 2.5 mechanical drive and it plugged into the backplane just fine. I mounted a OCZ Agility SSD drive in the same position as the Samsung and when it is pushed in it stops when it makes contact with the backplane connector and will not go any further...
