Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've never said i was running 4.4GHz. Actually :) it was stock. Even after I've changed the motherboard with a same ds2r. Maybe it was a bad lot or something. Anyhow, my new Q35 mATX Intel board is rock stable as it should. Me happy.
Hey guys! Just a quick one:
I have the Intel® mATX DQ35JO (q35) board and currently 2x 2GB Corsair DHX memory. Do you think adding an identical ram kit will cause my system to behave hieratic? My older Gigabyte DS2R had a weird psychedelic way of showing me that 8GB is out of the question...
Well, I've changed the mobo. bye bye DS2R, hello Intel Q35. Changed my A-Data 800+ 4GB kit to Corsair DHX 800 4GB. The system is finally stable. No OC, sure, but the damn thing is rock stable.
No offense but screw Gigabyte.
Im on E8400 and only 2 sticks of ram (4GB) for now. Also, Windows XP 32bit for me (/3GB flag in boot.ini)
The system works like a charm. No more bsods and video driver errors. So to hell with vista shite.
Myth:
in bios, main menu, press CTRL+F1 (more OC option will be available)
set the following:
fsb: 445
PCIE: 100
ram latencies: auto
ram to fsb: 2x (1:1)
--------------------------
fsb voltage: +0.1V
CPU voltage (vcore): 1.4V
the rest: normal.
