I just bought the game and already had a sub, so I just installed it through the launcher. To just get invited to the beta without buying it you need to run the launcher and set that you want to try the beta in the settings for your account. Then hopefuuly you get picked to try it out.

Its still beta right now, so I am sure things will be adjusted later on. I am sure they want people to be able to get out there and do content and test stuff.

The PCI-E 8 pins were designed to carry over 300W each but were limited to 150W. They were designed that way for safety and so you could daisy chain 2 connectors on the same card.
