    Negative, you can't transfer items between Alliance/Horde characters on the same account via the neutral AH anymore. As of several patches ago the game is aware of this and will give the "You can't bid on your own auction" error. If you can get a friend on one side or the other to help out...

    Update: It seems to run fine on the ground, especially indoors, but as soon as I get up to a higher elevation (on a gryphon, or in certain towns/areas), it chokes. I'm thinking it's prolly just crappy drivers, my system should be able to handle that better than this... I may revert to XP and see...
