Ok, the event viewer did not show anyhting. Loading defaults did nothing. I hate upgrading bios but i guess thats next. The thing is is that it does turn off but then it turns right back on even after doing a hard off.
The only way I can get it to turn off is to hard power off(Hold down button) twice.

basicly what i want to do is make an exact copy of my hard drive so when i install windows 7 on my second hard drive it will have all my programs or will it work the same if i run them from hdd 1?
What I am trying to acomplish is having a full and bootable exact copy of my current hard drive on my second hard drive. I cant seem to find any articles on what i want to do. Can you please help me.

It's the no beep code thats getting me. i have reseated everything many times now. I was saying trying another mobo because my other one had some problems before. I sold my spare CPU a while ago. Im friggin tired of these Gigabyte boards i had to rma the old one once and this one twice.
You can get a decent AM2/AM2+ mobo and an Athlon 64 X2 at higher than 2.7GHz for pretty cheap right now oh and you will need new DDR2 RAM. Another plus is is that these part should run cooler then the ones you have. With a monitor like that i would say you have the money to upgrade all at once...

Ok, I did all of the above only to recieve the same results. Switched to dif mobo same thing. So thinking it may be PSU. I am willing to buy a new one since that was the next upgrade for me, was looking into this one .
ill try taking out the video card and also just unplugging it to try to force a beep. I dont think taking it out will do anything because i also have onboard or will the combo of having no RAM for system and on-board do it. the only other psu i have is a 550W that is failing. if i get nothing...
