    Win 8 to 10

I had a similar problem with a rig of mine. I had a Windows 8 key. I had to install windows 8, then upgrade to 10. Recentally I think I remember reading that has been changed. I believe you can activate a Windows 10 install with a Windows 8 key. You just have to activate it manually and put in...

New Storage Server Build; OS and RAID-like questions

I understand then. I was just mentioning those as the more mainstream ones are pretty set it and forget it. Well, there's always virtualization. ;)

New Storage Server Build; OS and RAID-like questions

Introducing Cerberus, The SFF mATX Chassis From Kimera Industries

Thanks for the reply! Ah I understand. Yeah more colors can just make things harder. I was only asking as I just love the grey Compact Splash case. I have a black one, and I just wish I could get a grey one. In the end though, I'm not afraid to use a dremel if I do pick one up and move my rig to...

    SDD upgrade for my laptop

The laptop comes with a 128GB M.2 drive, yeah? If you use that as your boot drive and the mechanical HDD as just storage, you should be fine. :) Either way if you want a 512GB or 1TB SSD, I personally have always used Samsung's SSDs. Their 850 EVO is a great drive. If you aren't afraid to buy...

980 Ti sli vs R9 Fury Crossfire

I agree with Dayaks. Heck, I even have a GTX 980 and I run it on a 3440x1440 panel. Though if you ever need more umph, it's easy to pop another in!
