Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hello,
First, the system:
cpu: i5 760
mobo: P55A-UD4P
CPU cooler: cnps10x performa
GPU: 6850
Case: Antec 300
The goal is a 4.0 overclock. At a 3.6 overclock, I'm getting idle temps of 40, and while using IBT, my max temp is 91, which I consider pretty high.
Is the Performa just that bad, or...
Hmm, so I have a couple of options it seems.
7870, 7850, 6950, 7870, 7950...
6950 is the cheapest, and I don't really want to overpay. Which card would be the safest for my setup?
Thanks for the detailed post. I'll keep an eye out for those cards, and see what I can grab.
Missed your last line. My mobo does support Crossfire, and I have enough juice in my PSU, which is why I'm considering it.
I downloaded and install the latest CAPs, but I wasn't able to find out what it does. I checked the Application settings under Gaming in CCC to see if it would be there, but saw nothing. Any ideas?
I'll check Afterburner, as I don't have it installed, I'll post back.
7970 is a little out...
Hello!
I just recently setup Eyefinity (3x 21.5, 1920 each), and it looks fantastic.
Specs:
GPU: 6850
Mobo: P55A-UD4P
CPU: i5 760 (OC: 3.8 ghz)
RAM: 12Gb
I mostly play World of Warcraft, and noticed not so good frame rates. I've tried searching around, but my question is this...
Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm trying to private message the OP with no luck as my messages aren't sending for some reason.
