Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The root cause of all of this, actually, is memory pricing. And the blatant false scarcity made up by the dram makers who are holding the entire world to mercy. Almost literally.
If memory wasn't scarce, everyone could just simply make more graphics cards. AMD could, and would, just under cut...
That has got to be his lamest video yet. 15 minute explainer where he explains literally nothing about what any of the options do, merely that they're there, and you can change them. He doesn't even complete any comparison testing. Total muppet.
Totally in same boat as OP. Started out with family Intel 286 DX2 (66mhz!) - then consoles, NES, etc. through to N64 (last console I've ever owned), then first gaming PC (PentiumII 300mhz, Matrox PowerVR m3D - I still own these, so cute :))
But I think we've just out-grown mainstream gaming...
That's a real shame. I love HL2, but Ravenholm is the definite low point. Feels so out of place and is just annoying to work through. Really feels like work. And to top it off that Preacher guy is just outright annoying. Is there anyone who doesn't find that guy just really f*cking annoying...
Awesome! Take my money!!
Would have been nice if they included Hitman Blood Money, hands down the best in the entire series and last 'true' hitman game (no Jesper Kyd score, that aint Hitman).
I guess they can do a DLSS 4.5 update for Blood Money separately, THAT would be super sweet.
Can't help but fear they have SERIOUSLY shot themselves in the foot by making it a prequel.
Think of all the events that have happened in GW2 and so necessarily CAN'T happen in GW3, else it won't make any sense.
All the Dragons, all the new races discovered, all the key game lore that has...
Looks to me like one of those gold caps exploded, the size is smaller than the area circled, which seems to show another cap that's still ok, albeit got some debris on the top side.
You can probably just ignore it. I've popped off those lil caps of many cards over the years and noticed no problems.
This is how it's meant to be played though right? :p
I've never raced seriously in Forza 5, just do whatever it takes to get ahead, and if the AI is blatantly going to rubberband, then killing them isn't optional, it's necessary.
Anyway, so far I've played one long opening session a few days...
I think we need to remind ourselves that the real reason for the high GPU prices in recent years is mostly down to lack of competition.
Nvidia are now competing with themselves, a 6090 would have no competition beside a 5090, so they'll price it accordingly, $2,500 at the very least. And a 6080...
Just tried the demo, there's an option near the bottom of the graphics section called simething like Lens affect, click once left to remove chromatic aberration but leave the rest of the effect on, or turn it off, but I noticed weird arfticats on windows with it off.
On another note, are you PC...
I had an ATI X800XL, shittiest card I ever got, wouldn't overclock for shit and as a result was barely any faster than my previous 9800Pro watercooled. Even soldered volt modding did nothing. Silicon was just at a solid wall.
CPU wise, gotta be haswell 4770K. barely managed 4.7ghz and as such...
Lol, know exactly what you mean. I'm planning on getting one on day 1, find and disable the weakest CCD, disable SMT, then overvolt and overclock the shit out of it. I'm hoping under this config 6ghz is possible under water. Then I realised I'll have the hassle of taking off the waterblock etc...
