    LG W3000H for $700 vs. U2711

Yup, it was too hard to resist. Was used, but still had warranty and 60 days guaranteed return policy from a trusted vendor. I'm excited for some 2560x1440 action now!

    LG W3000H for $700 vs. U2711

Pictures showed some imperfections on the W3000H refurbs, so they are out. Now I'm back to the battle of the 27" displays. Which one wins between: Dell U2711 HP ZR2740w Samsung S27A850D I need a new monitor ASAP, so I don't know that I have time to wait for reviews on the two newer displays...

Going X-Fire...Which 6870 do I go after and why?

If you can find it, and don't mind mixing cards, I would go with the MSI R6870 Hawk. It runs better components on the board and has the same Twin Frozr III cooler that my R6970 has, which is super quiet and keeps my cards totally cool (even in xFire)

    MSI 6970 Lightning Crossfire temps

I have two of these cards as well and see similar temps to you. I was pushing into the 80's, but then I swapped out my clear side-panel on the 600T for the mesh one and added 4x 120mm scythe fans and now they run no more than 65C at full load. Gotta love cool air!

    LG W3000H for $700 vs. U2711

Thanks for the input guys. I've asked for some real pics from the seller and if they look good, I think I'll pull the trigger on that W3000H then. On a side note, any thoughts on the new HP ZR2740w? I don't know if it looks like that's a good option to wait for if this W3000H doesn't pan out.

    LG W3000H for $700 vs. U2711

Hello all, I'm new here and I've been looking to get into the 'big' monitor game for about a month now. Recently I've been rigorously pouring through this forum for my answer and here's my situation: - I'm a Web Developer looking for screen real estate (multiple windows) & good color accuracy...
