Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If there is just one game in the series, it is not a "franchise." (I'm looking at you Psychonauts and Beyond Good & Evil.") Those games belong on a list of best games of the past decade without sequels or spin-offs.
L4D, the L4D 2 and now Metro 2033. Just got a few games off Steam, but I suspect that Fallout 3 GotY will make me forget everything else until New Vegas is cheap enough to pick up off Steam. :D
At this time, I am able to buy PC games for much, much less than the console version. Just saw Metro 2033 at Gamestop for Xbox 360 for $49.99 new retail. I just got it off Steam for PC on sale for $9.99.
Consoles are highway robbery. I used to play them during the PS2 days and before...
So far, I've picked up Batman: Arkham Asylum and Metro 2033 during this last sale. Nifty! I should have picked up Borderlands, but I'm waiting for the GotY edition to go on sale later...
I want to upgrade from XP to Win 7 Home Premium using the upgrade version. (I know this means a clean install, but that XP has to be installed first.) Currently, I've got some spyware/viruses on my XP installation, so I would like to just upgrade at this point rather than clean installing XP...
Great-looking design. They also added an optical out port for audio, which some might not care about but for those of us with older receiver systems that's great news. I will seriously consider getting a 360 now. Seems like they are trying to address all the issues with the old 360's...
Maybe there is too much focus on the video game aspect here and not enough on the pro/expert aspect. Some interesting reading that's directly related to pro-level performance or experise in a field:

I'm going to try backing up my HD and restoring it this weekend. (My install is fairly fresh so if I lose it no biggie, and I'd rather have confidence that my back-up procedure works...) My 500GB WD HD is partitioned using Partition Magic 7; will this create any problems if I backup my system...
