Looks/sounds like what I just went through with both of my 7900GTs. I was seeing a lot of those texture spikes and dots. It only gets worse. I'd tell him to RMA the card. I RMA'd both of mine and eVGA hooked me up with 2 8800GTSs. :D

I ran my board upside down for a few hours before buying the case, just to make sure it wouldnt be a problem. current temps are cpu-34c mobo-31c

I have that board in that case and I have no problems. My temps are the same as they were in my other case. The only problem I had with this case/mobo, was that I had to reverse the pins on the HDD LED in order for it to light up.

Does this have anything to do with SLI? Under monitors in device manager it lists 2 monitors, even though I've only ever had 1 connected. I noticed this today while messing around with color correction in the nvidia control panel. I noticed that if I reboot, the color settings revert to...

I can only see temps on 1 card too. Plus all my game profiles are gone. The only thing in the drop-down menu is the global settings. Maybe a reinstall will fix. Anyone notice a faster boot of XP with these drivers? The loading bar on my boot screen would always make about 1 or 2 passes...

Will it flash and take care of both cards at the same time or would I do them separately?

I got a 7-8 degree drop in cpu temps too. :) I was too thrown off by the drop in my 3dmark score to notice at 1st.

scratch that, 3dm05 score is back at a little over 13000 now. :)

hmmm, I lost about 1500pts in 3dmark05. I went from 13200 with v1103 to about 11700 w/v1205 :(
