Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the replies!
Although I can build computers, I know almost nothing about servers...
I found this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6r60JjAil0
I do not know how correct it is, but for me it makes a lot of sense.
If I am correct, my 24mbps connection will be...
Come on!
Servers can't be that hard!!!
By the way, a local store gave me an offer, but I think they overkilled it a little bit and that they did not understood what I asked them for... Here it is:
CPU: Intel Xeon E5405
RAM: 8GB
6x LFF 3.5'' SAS/SATA (don't know what this is)
8x...
Nothing will ever be better than a custom made desk.
Custom made furniture allow you to use the maximum out of your space and fit your needs to the maximum you can define them.
So far I have ordered two custom made furniture. They are not more expensive than the "standard" ones. Maybe...
I had a look at "Host-Gator (?)" primarily.
I know about the big server in big server-boxes in rooms with many such boxes and the staff to keep them up and running, but for a simple website like the one I plan to make, this is not necessary I believe.
Also, I am nobody. Really. :D So no...
Hello guys. I might need a server.
I want to put some stuff on-line, but hosting is going to cost as much as the server anyway, and having the actual server will give me 100% control, so I consider it.
To the stuff now:
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web...
As soon as I gathered the money I bought a G400s. That was July 2014. :D
It is a tad better than the old MX518, nothing noticeable, just smoother and until now the pointer never jumped which is great.
What I like the most about the G400s is the great DPI range and the on-flight DPI mode...
I currently use Sennheiser PX 100, but from continuous use the ear pads have almost decompose.
Also they have no volume control or microphone.
I would like to upgrade into something with decent sound quality, volume control and better comfort for 3-4 hours of use.
I use headphones for...
Any one heard of this happening in other Countries?
That will cause a problem for me if i have to order it, and usually you have to because it is "expensive", so i cannot have a look at it before.
We have no Best Buy in Greece. I might move in the U.S for study, but this is a long time to wait.
Unfortunately here they do not have mice for the public to see in all of the big shops. Most of the time they bring a mouse after you order it...
Yes, some shops might have it, but...
My MX518 is in my possession for more or less 7 years. In that time i have "abuse" it. I don't think these mice can fail soon.
Local Internet stations/cafes used the same mice 24/7 and most of them where retired in working condition after years to get new, and some establishments gave them...
I really thank you all for your replies!
The G400s seems the same like my MX518. Although it has a better sensor, it has exactly the same thumb-buttons. The second main reason i consider a new mouse is to have more buttons.
DeathAdder 2013. Even less buttons. and the very curvy shape seems...
Yes, most of the time i do move the mouse around with my fingers while my wrist sits on the mouse pad.
First time i saw comments about G500/600 sensor problem i googled it and i found too many results. In my country i will have to deal with the local reatailer for warranty issue and their...
I need a new gaming mouse for my new system.
( Build Thread: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1766811 )
My Logitexh MX518 still works fine, but i need more dpi resolution and more thumb-buttons.
I seen the Logitech G500s and G600 having good reviews, but it seems they also have sensor...
