Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I forgot to mention - I have the OS and software speced otu already. My boss will order it for me at work sinc ehe gets some special rate. I deducted that price from the price I gave to everyone here.
Well, I'm going to try to convince them the $350 one is better. My dad gave me a tip on dealing with my uncle - he's trying to lowball me and be a quasi-cheapskate. I'll say $350, he'll say $275, then my aunt will mediate and we'll end up at $332.89.
Well, I don't mind doing tech support for them... There are some other politics involved here. Within three years I'll be buying a house and I'll need some h elp building a deck... My uncle being the master builder that he is - I'll have to get him to owe me one.
Trust me, I know what...
Well, they rejected that $350 PC I quoted them. They want it below $300. Yikes... I have the software speced out so don't worry about that (Yes I'm keeping it legal). So the price of the software isn't included in that, I just subtracted the software price fromt he price they gave me and...
Hopefully he decides soon before the rebate expires.

Actually they are! What the hell am I thinking? There's one right on 202, in King of Prussia. I go that way all the time. I even do it in a company Dodge Durango so I can pick up a $60 monitor.
I posted the same question on usenet so I'll compare answers. I think the price is right, but I need to include a monitor in there. Which is a pain in the ass.
I almost missed that. thanks, this is a bit cheaper. But I would have to get a heatsink and fan.

Ah ha... that would bring the price to $373.
I wonder if I could bring the original system to $300. Then I would have $50 to play around with concering the monitor.
that would be a great system, you could save on the video card by either getting something like a fx5200 or looking for a motherboard with onboard video. i build a computer for my parents with a PC-Chips Motherboard with onboard video and it has been a really stable system and it runs alot of...
Basically the title says it all. I'm obviously going for an AMD processor. They aren't gamers, and will use the PC for word processing a few spreadsheets and maybe a few kids' games. The kids are no older than 5. I'm hoping to get them a 17 inch CRT monitor as well - the LCDs are too...
