    of course. 1000mhz is plenty for me. i figure if i run both sticks at 500mhz i will theoretically be able to OC my cpu (e6750) to ~4ghz without even touching the ram. but i want to OC my cpu to ~3.6ghz. 1000mhz is perfect for me.

    Yeah, the G.Skill ram I mentioned JUST came out so it hasn't been tested yet. I've never heard of Team Xtreem. I think the DDR2-800 Crucial Ballistix are able to reach ~1000mhz (2x1gb). But since I want 4gb (2x2gb), the G.Skill's I mentioned seem to be the best possible choice right now...
