Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'd personally do that and not bother about running them as a raid array but just get a few (really cheap) PCI or PCI-E sata cards, as many as you need to get all 10 HD's in the case. WHS would save you having to setup the media server too since it's all pretty automated.
Thats unless you...
I think it's more Microsofts battle to fight than it is NVidias or ATI's. As the developers of the OS they should theoretically be in the best position to put forward some form of content protection mechanism at a low level to encourage game developers to develop for windows. I'm unsure what and...
yeah you can get them I believe although I won't look as anything I find here in the AU won't help you.
You can also get something like this which uses PCI-E which I'm sure you'll have at least 1 slot free for.

Yeah I don't like it but I also didnt like the antec 900. Not a big fan of the tops they use on those cases nor do I like the side windows design. I still think the P1XX range of cases are antecs best designs, very sleek imho at least externally. I tend to be a lian li fan but generally always...
Theres no guarantee prices will drop apon release of the new cards at least not in the immediate future. The current cards such as the 8800gt's, gts and even really the 9800gtx are all pretty mid range cards in terms of price comparred to what the 8800GTX was cost wise at launch. It's entirely...
Would it be possible from anywhere to get some taller screws that will fit? That may work. The TRUE120 should fit fine but, maybe try and remove any unnecessary plates on the back of the Gigabyte board but (the crazy cool ones...think off my head they are removeable)
Yeah already have but given I'm in Australia I'm half tempted to just get a replacement here. I don't really see how both the backplate legs and the screw both gave up that easily but and it's sort of annoying the backplates stuck on the mobo for good now. Maybe one corner of the backplate gave...
now the screws out i'm sort of concerned that even should i get a replacement, because that leg to the backplates collapsed if I reattach it I'll probably short circuit the board....
I might look at some small rubber washers. I don't think any of the legs are touching circuitry although one...
got it out, was enough at the back to get some pliers and rotate the screw out using some small electrical ones and then building up to some bigger ones.
Now need to organise a new screw.
Heres a potential new one. I was screwing in the cooler and one of the screws snapped in half. I didntt believe I was overscrewing at all given that it was rotating with absolute ease. And after that snapped all the others took about 3 twist to come loose and I was doing them in turn so each was...
mines 1.36V, had it setup a day or three but I havent tweaked any BIOS settings besides boot order of the sata devices. I probably won't be changing any settings for a week or 2 but until I have this uni report under control so sorry for the lack of help there.
